On 3rd October evening the Catalan and Swedish students and teachers met at a local restaurant for a farewell dinner. Claudia, Gisela, Laura and Marc tell us about it.
On Thursday evening we all met for dinner, which was to
be the farewell dinner, but before that we met and we walked around Nyköping to
buy some presents for our families (Nyköping is a gorgeous and very quiet
town). Then we went to the restaurant, placed at Hotel Scandic. We sat
with our Swedish partners.
Some of our classmates gave a short speech in three
languages: English, Swedish and Spanish, it was very funny. Then we stood up
and went to take some food from the buffet. There were a lot of typical Swedish
dishes, for example:
Meat balls, Mashed potatoes, Rice, Sausages, Salmon, Pasta with vegetables, Broccoli salad with carrots, Corn salad with onion, Chickpeas with green beans
And for dessert: Apple cake, Pudding and Cookies
Most of us repeated several times, because everything
was very delicious!!
After dinner we took the bus and we went to the
disco-bowling. Some people had a bowling game and some others didn’t, they just
chatted, but we all had a really good time. J
