El Paseo Marítimo - 2013

En nuestra primera manaña en Espana fuimos en el paseo marítimo. Pasabamos por La Rambla y en la ruta vimos la estatua de Columbus. La estatua fue muy grande y tambíen magnifíco. Despúes habíamos tomado unas fotografías continuamos nuestra paseo. Despúes hicimos una parada breve en la tienda de recuerdas en la acuario. Era triste porque solamente visitamos a la tiende de recuerdas y no visitamos el acuario.

On our first morning in Spain some of us went on the walk by the ocean. We went down from La Rambla towards the statue of Columbus. He statue is very big as well as it is magnificent. After we had taken some photographs our walk continued. After the statue we were on a short visit to the aquarium´s souvenirshop. Sadly enough, we never entered the aquarium, we just visited the souvenirshop.

Para la primera actividad decidí participar en el paseo marítimo. Fue una sueña. En la ruta del paseo maritimo pasamos un gran centro commercial que llamaba Mare Magnum. También ví un cine muy, muy grande. Más grande que el cine en Nyköping, creo. Despues de media hora caminata pudimos ver la playa, ¡que vista maravilla! Allí tomamos muchas fotografías de la playa y el mar. En la playa hubo un hombre que hacía un escultura de la arena que retrató Homer Simpsons. Es una cosa que nunca se puede ver en Suecia. Luego seguimos hacia el centro para visitar al parc de la Ciutadella  para ver la magnífica fuente que estaba allí. El paseo marítimo era una de las cosas que me gusté más en Barcelona. Sobre todo la playa y el medio ambiente.

For the first activity I decided to participate in the maritime walk. It was a dream. On the route we passed a big shopping center named Mare Magnum. We also sa a very big cinema, much bigger than the cinema in Nyköping, I think. After half an hour’s walking we could see the beach. What a wonderful view! We took many pictures of the beach and the ocean. On the beach there was a man who made sand sculptures which portrayed Homer Simpson. That is one of the things you never get to see in Sweden. We continued towards the center to visit the Cituadella Parc to see the magnificant fountain. The maritime walk was one of the things I liked the most in Barcelona. Especially the beach and the surroundings.

Una de mis partes favoritas del viaje fue el paseo al lado del mar. Lo hicimos el primero día cuando hizo mucho sol – una gran diferencia de Suecia hoy. No hay mucha gente en las playas ahora porque todavía hace demasiado frío para bañar - ¡pero se puede tomar el sol! El paseo era muy bonito con una vista fantástica del mar y también cafés y tiendas. Es lo que todos los suecos suelen soñar con durante los inviernes fríos en nuestro país. La verdad es que no caminamos mucho – solamente nos sentamos en el sol para disfrutar del clima extranjera.

 

One of my favorite parts of this journey was the walk along the seaside. We did it the first day when it was very sunny – a big difference from Sweden today. There’s not much people on the beaches now because it is still too cold to swim – but you can still do some sunbathing! The walk was very pretty with a great view of the sea and also some cafés and botiques. It’s what all Swedes dream of during the cold winters in our land. The truth is that we didn’t do much walking – we just sat down in the sun to enjoy the foreign climate.
