Castelleres es un grupo de personas que construyen un castell de personas. El origen de los castelleres es de un baile que se llama "Baile de los valencianos". En el fin de este baile los participantes construyen un torre de personas. A medida que los grupos diferentes empezaron a competir de que grupo puede hacer el torre más alto. Eventualmente el construcción de los torres resultó en un acto separado. Originalmente solamente hombres pueden participar en el construcción de los torres, pero hoy todas las personas que quieren pueden participar. El haciendo de Castell de personas es muy típica de Catalunya pero ha empezado a difundir a otros lugares en España y el resto del mundo.

Los castelleres llevan un tipo de ropa especial, todos llevan pantalones blancos, y el color de sus camisetas es lo que separa los grupos diferentes. La música que esta tocando describe para los castelleres cuál planta en que están. Probamos a construir un torre de personas, era bastante difícil, pero en el fin el torre era muy alto.

 

 

Castelleres is a group of people building a human tower. It originated from a dance called "Baile de los valencianos" in which people would finish their act by building a human tower. As time passed different groups who performed the dance started to compete about who could build the tallest tower. Eventually the tower-building became so popular that it became a separate act. Originally only men were allowed to participate in the building of the towers, but today anyone who wishes to participate may do so. Los castelleres is very to Catalonia, but it is starting to spread to other parts of spain and the rest of the world.

The tower builders wear a special type of clothing, they all wear white trousers and it is the colour of their shirts that separate the different groups from each other. The music that is played during the building of the tower indicates which level they are on. This tells the people on the lower levels, who do not have the ability to look for themselves, which level they are on. We tried to build a human castle and it was extremely tall.
